Fusion dance is an improvised social dance style that draws on a wide range of dance techniques, creating a new and unique style to reflect diverse musical influences.
We're going into our third year, offering dances on fifth Saturdays at Absolute Ballroom. Whether you dance blues, west coast swing, tango, salsa, lindy hop, ballroom, hip hop, kizomba, or any other social dance; our goal is to provide an opportunity to create, collaborate, experiment, and embrace the unexpected. Many social dances share similar techniques for communicating with our partner, but diversity in movements and musical expression.
Come explore the possibilities with us by taking your dance out of context and seeing how we can inspire one another to new creative heights!
Blue Moon Fusion is always held on the fifth Saturday of the month. There is $5 cover.
A lesson is offered from 8-9 pm followed by social dancing until around 11:15 pm.
